Description
“Pollinating Twin Goldenrod” is an original floral photograph by Sandra Huston.
I photographed these bright yellow twin goldenrod wildflowers in our front field with varied insect species busy pollinating the blossoms in September. Solidago sempervirens, also know as the seaside goldenrod is a plant species in the Asteraceae family. Goldenrod perennial wildflowers include more than 100 varied species with tall, slim golden flower spikes that are native to eastern North America.
