During a recent trip to New York City I captured this photograph of the subway in the Times Square neighborhood of Manhattan which is housed inside the Eleven Times Square building, a 40-story, office and retail tower located on Eight Avenue at W. 42nd Street, directly across from the Port Authority Bus Terminal. The tower was completed in 2011 and rises 601 feet making it the 100th tallest building in New York City. It was designed by the renowned architect Dan Kaplan of FXFOWLE. In 2017, the New York subway delivered over 1.72 billion rides, averaging approximately 5.6 million daily rides on weekdays and a combined 5.7 million rides each weekend. Wikipedia
