“Bluebirds and Apple Blossoms” is a original nature photograph and digital art by Sandra Huston.

With temps nearly 50 degrees and the snow melting on this sunny mid February afternoon it felt like spring in the air so I decided to go through my archives looking for images of apple blossoms that I had captured over the last few years. I picked this particular one with the bright sun highlighting the apple blossoms than added two Eastern Bluebirds that I photographed this winter utilizing layers with my Paint Shop Pro Digital software. These three combined photographs came out perfect with the beautiful blue sky peaking through the apple tree branches matching the beautiful bright blue feathers of these two Eastern Bluebirds looking at each other. This particular pair of Eastern Bluebirds have visited our garden feeders throughout last year into this past winter. I am so hoping to see their young visiting our feeders this spring.
