I captured this image of a pond at Beaver Park in Lisbon, Maine just as the surface started to freeze in the middle of November. Beaver park has 6.5 miles of walking trails and three ponds that are stocked with trout for fishing in the summer. Its a great place to walk your dogs or just enjoy the tranquil landscape. In winter you can enjoy the fresh air and views while snow shoeing and cross country skiing.
