Artist's Description
"Bull Moose in Fall, Framed" is an original fine art photograph and digital artwork by Sandra Huston.
This image of a bull moose was also captured in Rangeley, Maine in 2008 while staying at a friends vacation home in late September. My husband and I had seen some tracks the day before going up the long drive. So I decided to sit on their balcony and wait after suppertime just in case he decided to walk across the top of the mountain. I may have waited a little over an hour and there he came walking right out of the woods. Our friends could not believe my luck. They have lived their many years and was never able to see him. It made my day, and my week as I did not see him again after. After retrieving this image from my archives I decided to update it with a few layers of artistic matching borders, a textured layer and finished with a transparent frame that resulted in this wildlife art decor for the public to enjoy.

About Sandra Huston
Welcome, I am a passionate nature photographer, pastel artist and author of 'Loons of Tacoma Lakes', a book celebrating the love of loons. I have enjoyed drawing animals and taking photographs from as long as I can remember. In 1990 I went professional with my first international website, offering fine art photography and commissioned pet portraits. It was not until 2006 after my first book was published that I truly became interested in digital photography as a true art form. With digital photography the sky is the limit and I truly enjoy sharing the wonders of nature that Maine and New England has to offer. While browsing through my art collections here at Fine Art America and Pixels.com, you will find what stirs my soul through wildlife...
