“Blooming Red Weigela” is an original floral photograph by Sandra Huston.
I photographed my Sonic Bloom Red Weigela bush late in the evening just before the sun set so I would get this beautiful soft background effect. This lipstick-red sonic bloom weigela blooms in late spring, then repeats in waves until frost. These one and a half inch tubular, red flowers are the perfect way to attract hummingbirds and butterflies to any garden. My hummingbirds love the delicious nectar and is one of my favorite bushes.
