This digital artwork of Times Square is from a street photograph I captured during a birthday trip to New York City in October of 2018.

Times Square is a district of New York City, located in the borough of Manhattan, which takes its name from the former headquarters of the New York Times. Located between 42nd Street and Broadway, it includes blocks located between Sixth and Ninth Avenue from east to west, and the blocks between the 39 th to 52 nd Street south to north. Nicknamed "Crossroads of the world ", Times Square is one of the most famous and animated places in the world, about 365,000 people cross each day. It’s among the world’s major commercial, financial and cultural centers, and the heart of “the Big Apple.” Its iconic sites not only include skyscrapers such as the Empire State Building, but neon-lit Times Square and the theaters of Broadway.
