“Sun Kissed Common Loon” is an original wildlife photograph by Sandra Huston
I captured this loon preening and cleaning its feathers early one fall morning while kayaking Sand Pond in Litchfield, Maine. It was such a beautiful contrast with the deep green reflections in the water against the bright sunlight highlighting the loon’s body.
