Dryasiulia, commonly called the Julia butterfly, Julia heliconian, the flame, or flambeau, is a species of brush-footed butterfly. Fore wings are elongated with the males a brighter orange above and below; upper side of hind wing with narrow black border on outer margin. Female duller orange, with more black markings above. The wing span is 3 1/4 - 3 5/8 inches (8.2 - 9.2 cm). The males patrol all day for receptive females. There preferred food source are nectar producing flowers including lantana and shepherd's needle. They are native to Central and South America and can be found throughout the year in southern Florida and South Texas. Wikipedia
In this image I decided to use my artistic license and manipulated the photo with a reflective layer and selective texture for a more unique look.
