“Hanging Fuchsia After A Rain Shower” is an original fine art floral photograph by Sandra Huston.

With Spring just around the corner, I decided to go through my archived photographs of flowers. I came across this beautiful capture of my hanging Fuchsia and decided to upload it for the public to enjoy.

Hanging baskets show off the natural cascading beauty of Fuchsia plants, livening up patio and porch spaces. Did you know that Fuchsia blossoms and berries are edible? Often used in salads, these blooms are attractive but acidic, so use in small quantities. Also, hummingbirds are attracted to flowers that are red and pink with tubular blossoms, and Fuchsia hybrid is one of their favorite food sources. I like to keep hummingbirds in my garden from spring to fall so I provide them with hummingbird feeders when my flowers start to go dormant. This gives the travelers a good pick me up when they are migrating south in the fall.
