Description
A beautiful male Cairns Birdwing butterfly drinking the moisture off of a leaf at the Magic Wings Butterfly Garden in South Deerfield, Massachusetts photographed late in September. This was a treat for me from my husband on our 40th wedding anniversary. If you love butterflies like I do than you will have to visit Magic Wings when you are in the New England area. It is the largest indoor butterfly garden and conservatory featuring gorgeous tropical plants, an indoor pond with a water fall, with 100's of butterflies from all over the world including Japanese quail darting under the foliage, and small colorful little finches. It is well worth the trip!
Honored to be featured in the following Fine Art America groups:
* Images That Excite You - 10/24/17
* Wildlife One A Day - 10/28/17
* Kingdom Animalia - 11/4/17
