These beautiful pink hollyhock cousins grace my Lisbon Falls, Maine garden each year and are a joy to photograph. Its true name is Malva Moschata Apple Blossom Pink Musk Mallow and is a hardy perennial that blooms throughout the summer and early fall. On this July day I waited until the sun was setting to capture these beauties against my trellis and the deep green backdrop.
